Once upon a time, there was a woman who loved tea. She used tea as means to decompress and be truly present in the NOW. With the hustle and bustle of daily life, tea is a means to connect with all the elements (fire, water, earth, air, and spirit). In 2018 the Universe conspired to give Snowshoe two very important gifts. First, the gift of the knowledge that her Soul Animal is a Snowshoe Hare; and second, the enlightenment that the tea she dearly loves would bend to her wishes. Herb and flavor combinations began to dance in her head. She began to blend. On a warm October night in 2019, Snowshoe created New Moon in Scorpio, her first (and still most popular) blend. The desire to share tea and all the blends she created with the world became the driving force behind Snowshoe’s Workshop. She began with her friends, and then the public. There is no greater pleasure than sharing tea with friends… and if Snowshoe shares tea with you, you are a Friend.

Hares represent fertility, agility, and abundance. Snowshoe hares in particular remind us to adapt and honor all the cycles and transitions we encounter in our lives. They are aligned with the moon and with earth elements. Our Snowshoe connects with the herbs she blends and hopes that each blend finds the drinker in good health. Consuming tea with intention, really being present in the moment, is a useful way to check in with yourself and where you are in your day (or even your life).
